Björn Kvarnskog
Head of Equities
Future Fund
Björn Kvarnskog joined the Future Fund in February 2016, he is responsible for the strategy of the Listed Equities portfolio and is a member of the Investment Committee.
Previously he was the Head of Global Equities for eight years at the Fourth National Pension Fund (AP4) in Sweden, a SEK 300 billion (AUD 50 billion) government pension fund. Mr Kvarnskog was a member of the Funds Investment Committee and was also responsible for overseeing all aspects of the fund's long-only equity index portfolio, and the total implementation of the fund's portable alpha mandate including manager selection and allocation of risk to two bespoke long-short alpha platforms. Mr. Kvarnskog previously held senior positions at DnB NOR Asset Management, AP3, Alfred Berg Asset Management and Handelsbanken Life.
Björn holds a degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Finance and Economics from Stockholm University and a degree of Master of Arts with a major in History from Mid Sweden University and has currently completed post graduate studies in history.
