Roland assists institutional clients with managing risk at strategic portfolio level which entails a quantitative approach to integrate alpha and beta strategies, risk budgeting and payoff shaping. He previously worked for Barclays as an Equity Strategist and later headed up Barclays Risk Strategy Group (BRSG). Prior to this he worked for 14 years at Deutsche Bank and was responsible for Quantitative Strategy and Index Research. He is a committee member of the FTSE Index Advisory Committee and co-hosted WealthQuest for two years on the CNBC television channel. He has a BSc (Econ) from London and an MBA (Finance) from Edinburgh.
