Co founder of Chayora, an institutionally backed Data Centre Campus operator, developer and owner focused on the high growth China market. Chayora has created a unique proposition in the data centre market in China which has very high barriers to entry, a large supply and demand imbalance and creates value by providing business mission critical infrastructure in China to international organisations competing in the growing cloud, IOT and AI markets in China.

With over 25 years of international business, finance, technology, property development and construction experience, Jonathan has a career of venturing into new areas of business having been CEO of a Construction portal in 2000’s, leading some of the very first deployments of mobile applications for American Express in Japan. Immediately before co founding Chayora, he was Regional Managing Partner of EC Harris in Asia where he spent three years leading and successfully growing the company’s Asian business through a number of innovative business oriented property and asset management deals including the outsource of HSBC’s property portfolio including their Data Centre in Hong Kong. Jonathan has worked in Asia for more than 20 years and has very strong relationships both in Asia property, technology and investor markets and also in Silicon Valley. He led the raising of US$73m pre-revenue investment in Chayora from Standard Chartered Principal Finance in 2015.
