Carlos Sanchez is a Director of Climate Resilience Finance at Willis Towers Watson. His work focuses on the development of analytical solutions aimed at fostering a more proactive and strategic management of physical climate risks within investment portfolios. Prior to joining WTW, Carlos managed a facility at the Multilateral Investment Fund in Washington, D.C. - part of the Inter-American Development Bank Group – also dedicated to supporting the financial and productive industries in Latin America and the Caribbean to identify specific investment opportunities in connection to physical climate risks. In the past Carlos also worked at the Economic Office of the Spanish Embassy in Angola as Foreign Direct Investment Advisor. Carlos holds a Master in Finance from the London Business School and a Master in International Affairs from Georgetown University.
