Alan Chan has over 14 years of experience in financial analysis of and investment in the power sector within Asia Pacific. His current role is Business Development & Asset Management Oversight at CLP Holdings, in which he plays a leadership role in guiding the Group’s business development and asset optimization activities in China, India, Australia and Southeast Asia. Prior to his current position, he spent 6 years developing and managing CLP’s wind and solar project portfolio in China. He also had a stint as the lead equity analyst at Daiwa Capital Markets, covering the Hong Kong and PRC Power and Utilities sector. Alan holds an MBA degree from INSEAD in France and master’s degrees from Stanford University and Michigan State University in the USA.
