Alex Prout
Head of Asia Pacific

Alex joined the Company in 2017 with more than 30 years of industry experience. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for the development and growth of DWS business in Asia Pacific.
Before his appointment, Alex was most recently Chief Operating Officer for Global Sales and Distribution at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to that, he worked at Invesco Asset Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. He has spent much of his career in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
Alex is a well-respected asset management veteran in the industry with strong Asia experience, particularly in Japan where he managed both retail and institutional businesses for over 13 years.
BSLA in Japanese Studies from the Georgetown University.
